Michigan has an abundance of wonderful activities that attract sportsmen, athletes and nature lovers. The Sled Dog Races are a great way for all three groups to enjoy the outdoors. One of the most amazing efforts in the U.P. 200 and Midnight Run are the support and volunteers of the many communities the competitors pass through. For more information on some of these beautiful communities, see the Alger Chamber of Commerce website, the City of Munising, the Munising Visitors' Bureau, the Explore Munising, Gwinn, Grand Marais and of course the Marquette websites.
